God’s Grace (prayer)
Laying to the side,
I turn to talk to You,
In the most tender way,
You respond,
Not rehearsed or scheduled,
Just natural,
The way You are,
Love, You are the source,
And I desire You
In the same capacity that I desire water,
And so I search for You
In concentrated packages,
Reduced down to the thought,
Being happy to see parts of You,
Even as the smallest ingredient,
Naturally You are free,
And flow at one simple ask,
And refill of the glass,
Yet I stand thirsty wondering
How can I drink?
God I choose,
I choose You!
Take me from this thirst,
This constant need,
Let you cover.
Cover me,
Shelter my appreciation,
Reveal my humiliations,
I love You,
From the first moment
Honestly I do,
Place my hands into the stream,
Let the water filter me,
In me dwells no good thing
Except a seed,
And Your never ending stream

this sounds like a song…I hear a violin and flut playing softly to the words.
