Welcome to Beautiful

In the business of the week sometime I forget I have someone special in my life. Sherrifo, how many times I have passed and not let it sink in, wow someone loves me. That is special. This man came from nowhere it would seem and made himself apart of my identity, or more likely I his…welcome to beautiful.

Check this out…

One night we decide at a late hour to walk instead to the waffle house (yuk I know but for the record their pecan waffles are great). We had the unique experience of watching a group of young boys encourage another one to drink the whole bottle of syrup (frat probably). He then ran back and forth to the bathroom…laughter is beautiful.

Or the black woman sitting behind us in uniform. She looked so tired. I imagined she just pulled a double shift. Her huband sit across from her reading. He says something and right in the midst of her eyes closing she smiles…breaks are beautiful.

My very young waitress forgot pratically my entire order. Yet she did it with flair…her service is beautiful.

Afterwards we walk back and Sherrifo runs across a very wide street. He left me timid in the middle of the road. So I decided what do I have to loose and ran right passed a not to distant car…the sound of my yell…beautiful.

Finally instead of going home he climbs up this cement hill and sit. I follow him and we talk and watch the cars pass by wondering if this is what it feels to be homeless…the night sky and climbing mountains are beautiful.
