I watch televison eating sweet melon with peanut powder creme and condense milk. Relaxed and wrapped in special gifts from Gambia. I drink green tea and watch. I watch building crash and listen to children play outside my window. It’s after midnight and mother’s recline on porches remembering it’s summertime. How ironic peace and sudden destruction. I can’t remove my eyes.
