Seeing Goals
This evening I shared dinner with a close friend. We set between one plate of Thai spiced noodles and shoveled portions into our own bowls. We spoke about pressing toward the mark (Phil.3). We hugged goodbye.
This morning I spoke with a Peace Corp recruiter. She says Francophone Africa maybe a good fit (January 07). I must take the first step and submit my application.
Tonight I drank orange Fanta while an older man, failing in health, smoked a cigarette. He’d just shared a vulnerable apology to my class. He let me walk him outside. He let me hug him. He let me watch the tears gather in the corners of his eyes…thank you…then He shared his dark chocolate with the class. We aren’t supposed to have food in there. My instructor let this time slide.

There is really nothing like a good orange Fanta drink now is there?!
